World renowned Khao Yai National Park is a UNESCO world heritage site. It is an immensely popular attraction and suitable for anyone even mildly interested in nature. And a short 30-minute drive from our resort will get you to the park entrance.

We offer a variety of guided tours to bring you safely face-to-face with nature. The more independent, adventurous guests may wish to negotiate a customised tour with us. You can!

The Khao Yai district is rich with agriculture where sugarcane, bananas, tapioca and other tropical produce flourish. The national park is a major attraction and a centre of scientific and natural wonder. It is easy to spend weeks here and see something new every day.
We know where the local guides are and can make 'off the menu' nature tours, such as bird watching, available. Just tell us in advance, and we will set you up for a rewarding experience just the way you want it.

At 7.30 a.m. we will have a solid breakfast at our resort before leaving for Khao Yai National Park. We provide you with special socks and spray to avoid unpleasant insects.
Around 9.30 a.m. we start a 2 to 3 hour walk through various habitat to gain a good impression and appreciation of Thailand's natural vegetation and wildlife - the jungle! Just listening to the sounds of the jungle is an outstanding experience.
After a short stop at the visitor center we drive through the park to Khao Kiew, a viewpoint located 1,188 meters above sea level, where we enjoy our lunch.
From the viewpoint, we drive to Haew Suwat, which is one of the largest waterfalls in the national park. This is a prime location for some great photos.
At approximately 16.30 p.m. the jungle inhabitants begin to wake from their afternoon slumber. We drive to a watchtower in an open area to observe some of them in their natural habitat. We leave the watchtower after sunset and head back to the resort. It's a full day!

This tour is similar to the Full Day At The Park tour, with the same departure time & dress. After spending a few hours in the park, and finish at the Haew Suwat waterfall, we will drive to the bat cave area to watch more than 1 million(!) bats fly out to hunt insects during the night. The swarm of bats continues for more than half an hour and truly is a magnificent sight.
Arrival at Eco Valley Lodge is around 19.30h.
Elephant trekking
Tour duration: Approx. 2.5 hours, incl. a 20-30 minute ride on an elephant

We drive to a local elephant station where we observe the elephants close up. You can even feed them. Then, up we go! Onto the giants for a ride. The trek goes through the wilderness, crossing rivers and along a jungle trail. For the brave souls, there is even a chance to sit on the head of the elephant like the local mahouts.
Then it's back to Eco Valley Lodge and upload your pictures to your social media!

This is a late afternoon start at 16.30h. After a half-hour drive we will reach a local bat cave area to witness more than a million bats stream out to feed throughout the night. The swarm of bats continues to undulate across the sky before the sun sets and they disappear from view. This really is a marvellous phenomenon of nature.
Arrival back at Eco Valley Lodge is around 19.30h.

Do you want to release your inner cowboy? You can! Khao Yai is known as the cowboy country of Thailand. Indeed, Pak Chong is known as the Cowboy City of Thailand. There's even an annual cowboy festival held in late December. The local people are very proud of their heritage working with horses and cows. The area is full of the wild west flavour.

This tour will first stop at a local bird park to see many tropical birds, such as parrots, arras and hornbills. The next stop is at the Rose Garden which provides a beautiful view of the valley.
The horse riding begins at OK Corral, where you will be instructed in the art and safety of riding. With a professional instructor/guide you will set off for a magnificent ride through the beautiful hills and trails.
